shopping really is like...

...sex?

Turns out my friends, bargain-hunting really is actually that exciting.

You can read all about the study done by the University of London here.

But I mean, think about it. There is little more exciting than finding a bargain. Than getting those awesome knee-high boots for $8.00 when they used to be $35. Than finding an awesome pair of jeggings on sale for only $20. Than finding a necklace comparable to something worth $100 for only $6. Than having your necklace featured on the pages of In Style in the "bargain" sections - after you've already had it for a month.

Needless to say, I love a bargain. But as the tagline for those fabulous Christmas Tree shops says, Who doesn't love a bargain?

I'm glad to know that it's just scientific proof that bargain-hunting, i.e. shopping, really does produce endorphins in the body and make us, well, happier. It's especially encouraging to know that it's the bargains that really, should I say, turn us on? We're just designed to save money!

I didn't really need any more encouragement to do my share of boosting the economy, but there you go. :)
