This weekend was a beautiful weekend! The last true weekend of summer - as in the last weekend in August. I can't believe it's almost September. When did that happen? Life really sneaks up on you fast.
On Sunday Kate and I went to the Tall Ships Chicago! at Navy Pier. We didn't bike there, as advertised - but we did have a nice ride on the good ol' 147. Here are some pictures from the event:
We also had a potluck after church yesterday. It was a perfect night to be outside enjoying food, fellowship, and some good bluegrass music provided by our very own Kranmer kids [I think that's the name...?] In any case, they were excellent. :)
