Nostalgia

Today a friend asked me to send him photos to frame and display in his new [and far away :(] apartment. While looking through my [16,000+] photos, I got a little nostalgic for that magical place that is Wheaton College. It's been over a year since we graduated; we've lived onefullyear of "adulthood." Yet, today I feel a small little pull to go back and do it all over again.

Okay, not ALL of it. And, maybe it's because it's in the past, encapsulated and totally removed from my present state of mind that I am beginning to think of it as perfect, as we often do with memories simply because after a while they become less and less nuanced and more and more simply what we need them to be.

I'm pretty glad to be done with college, living the "real life" in the city, etc. But, occasionally, I think it does the heart a lot of good to reminisce.

...and that's only senior year....
